Organic Farm

There are many opportunities for visitors who come to The Farm. We are pleased to accommodate students of organic farming who wish to learn by doing while enjoying the beauty of our mountains, and we are always happy to accept volunteers who come to help with our projects, such as teaching English classes through the EEFAprogram.

Volunteers will have the opportunity to interact with local villagers, who represent three distinct cultural groups (Lao, Hmong, and Kmou). We have room for individuals and groups of up to 50 people. Just contact us at the e-mail address on the contact page and/or arrange a visit to The Farm that will surely be the highlight of your travels in Southeast Asia.

We encourage other organic farmers and enthusiasts to visit us. We always have something interesting happening on The Farm, such as sun-drying our organic fruits, tending our vegetable garden, assisting with the mulberry tea-making process, caring for our goats and pigs or transplanting crops.

Or simply come for an hour’s informative tour of The Farm.  We are happy to arrange this for groups who book ahead.  If on your own, stop by and walk around; there’s lots to see.

We are sure you will find something to learn from us, and we will learn from you as well.
